ROY FINAMORE’S BROCCOLI COOKED FOREVER
just finished cooking this recipe an hour ago and i’m still sneaking snack bites. so good!
i love eating broccoli, it’s one of my favorite foods. but it has to cook just enough to turn bright green - basically about 30 sec to a minute (pushing it). and so i am a firm believer that if you serve over steamed or boiled broccoli (that drab grey soggy stinky mess), you should just stay out of the kitchen.
i also dislike any fish products and the recipe calls for anchovies. thank god they melted away, phew.
color me converted to soft broccoli with this recipe because it is so not like the drab grey mess mentioned above and is quite flavorful.
back to the broccoli slathered piece of bread next to me…nom nom nom.
